Atlanta-based data security platform Ionic Security has raised $25.5 million in a Series B round co-led by Google Ventures and Jafco Ventures with participation from theWebb Investment Network and existing investorsKleiner Perkins Caufield and Byersff Venture Capital,TechOperators, and a handful of individual investors. Ionic provides a comprehensive and unified data security platform to protect data in the cloud and on mobile devices. Founded in 2011, Ionic has raised nearly $40 million to date and will use the new funds to expand its reach and sign more customers.
