COMPUTER PRODUCTS NEWS via COMTEX) –ClearOne CLRO, a global company that designs, develops and sells conferencing, collaboration, streaming and digital signage solutions for voice and visual communications, revealed on Tuesday that it has finalised its acquisition of Spontania cloud-based technology from Dialcom Networks SL.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The company said that its strategy to build an all-inclusive video collaboration portfolio has been completed with addition of the Spontania group videoconferencing software, which complements ClearOne’s existing premise-based, enterprise video collaboration portfolio.
According to ClearOne, it is the only company that offers an entirely software-based video conferencing product line, with a complete set of virtualised infrastructure. Its video portfolio can now provide a full range of video collaboration services for customers such as those in Enterprise, SMB, Healthcare and Education.
ClearOne’s solution is available either as a Platform as a Service (PaaS) or as a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) through authorised partners. It offers software-based endpoints that span mobile devices to laptops to telepresence group systems. Pricing details were not available.
