San Mateo-based marketing performance management startup Beckon has raised $8 million in Series A funding from August Capital and Canaan Partners.

Beckon helps marketers track spending using data analytics by consolidating all data and insights from different sources.

Founded in 2011, Beckon has raised $10 million to date and will use the new funds to scale its sales and marketing teams.
