Santa Clara-based networking company CloudGenix has raised a $9 million Series A round from Charles River Ventures and Mayfield Fund.

CloudGenix’s software simplifies network operations by letting companies manage applications over multiple types of connections to improve performance and lower costs.

Founded last year, CloudGenix is emerging from stealth today and plans to launch a beta product in the coming months.
